7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
*Sermon:* If God is to put authority on you one major requirement is to submit yourself unto God. You cannot carry the authority of the one to whom you are not submitted. Many people want to carry the authority of God but they do not want to submit to his ways.
Asides spiritual authority, there are other reasons why we should submit to God
· We should submit to God because He created us.
· We should submit to God because the outcome of his rulership over us must favour us.
· We should submit to God because all resistance to Him is futile.
· We should submit to God because such submission is absolutely necessary for our salvation.
· We should submit to God because it is the only way to have peace with God.
As you make this great decision to submit to God he will give you authority over the powers fighting you
*Prayer points*
1. Thank God for his favour upon your life, he is worthy to be praised
2. From today i will speak the mind of God at all times in the name of Jesus
