Prayer points for healing of the sick
God does not want sickness for his children, according to his word in Jer 29:11, the thoughts he has for us all are of good and not evil to give us an expected end, this means that God has a plan for us, sicknesses and diseases are not part of God's plan for us. Sickness and disease are a product of death, when men fell man deviated from God's original plan which included life, health and prosperity, this goes to show that God does not want you to live in sickness.
The Devil on the other hand uses sickness and infirmity to torment and opress people, the story of Job for example saw Job lost all that he had but we also see that Job was therefore afflicted with sickness, Job was afflicted with a skin infection and he was as good as dead, his wife even told him to curse God and die, but we see in the bible that Job overcame.
One thing that provokes healing is faith in God (Mark 5:34) "And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague." We see from scripture that Jesus often uses the word "your faith", this Just goes to show how important your Faith is, it Just goes to show that your faith is instrumental to your healing, when you believe strongly in what God can do and that there is nothing that he cannot do you see his touch upon your life, it doesn't matter the state of the sickness if you key into these prayers God will set you free forever.
Another very important thing is to confess your sins, once you confess your since you will receive your healing and be delivered from that sin which brought about sickness into your life The bible says in (James 5:14-15) "Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.” Sicknesses come into people's lives in different ways, for some it is through what they done, e.g somebody contacts sexually transmitted diseases due to the wayward lifestyle he/she has been keeping, so we see that different people experience different things for various reasons, and sometimes they alone can understand the length at which they have gone, often times nobody knows of some of these things except they alone."
