Waking up in the midnight has a lot of spiritual benefit, the bible encourages us to pray at midnight as well in (Matt 26:40) "39 And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

40 And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?"

Jesus came finding his disciples asleep when they were asleep, that says a whole lot, this is something that shows that the disciples were spiritually insensitive to the occurrence at that time, it means they did not know that their master was soon to be taken away from them, if they had known they would have been more vigilant and observant in the spirit, they would have known that the spirit realm is calling them to an activity of prayers. The night time is when the Devil mostly carries out his attacks, the bible says that while men slept the enemy came to sow tares amongst the wheat, the enemy comes when we are most vulnerable and seeks to execute and carry out his demonic onslaught against the vulnerable person.
